I go by a couple names, 'Ed', 'Solo' and 'Puppy' being the most popular amongst my colleagues and cohorts. Currently I'm writing under the name of 'Edward Cynanthropos'--'Edward' for the famous alchemist Edward Kelley, and 'Cynanthropos' meaning 'dog-man' for my connection with the canine archetype.
I'm many things...an alchemist, occultist and pantheist to name a few. I was born in 1980 in a female body, but identify as a female-to-male transgendered person. Like Hermes, I am quite androgynous as well as pansexual, and tend to fly in the face of most of society's established gender roles, choosing not to take hormones or cut my hair short. I am also a non-disordered multiple as well as otherkin, and I'm not ashamed of either. My primary and lifetime totem is Coyote, and my 'patron diety' of sorts is Hermes as Old Man Coyote.
To make ends-meet I work county government, and I actually enjoy my job very much. When not doing that, on the weekends I volunteer at a park aviary housing permanently-injured raptors (thats 'birds of prey') and helping to coordinate nature programs, both of which I find very rewarding. In my off-hours I enjoy sticking my nose in a book (usually occult and other nonfiction), or hanging out with friends. I also enjoy horror movies, Japanese cinema, boating, photography and camping. And of course writing.
Right now I'm working on exercising my writing skills so I can get some of my ideas published and out there, specifically in the realms of alchemy, occult and experimental magic as well as other fringe-related things. I'm also working on going back to college where I hope to study Psychology and/or Animal Behavior.
